Initially a “practice” mural installed in my own home- this futuristic and illusory piece has been one of my most complex mural installations to date.

It took some trigonometry to get these rows just right, and — because I’m a crazy person — I painted this entire wall without a using a single strip of painter’s tape. Talk about dizzying straight line practice!

There’s also a spot gloss effect because of the different sheens of paint I used, which I really enjoy in this context. I would love to do some more wallpaper-like and/or faux 3D geometric murals in the future :)
